Mollustic TRIENNALE MILANO
Mollustic is a speculative communication project exploring non-human perspectives on climate change through a fictional movement and an interactive installation.
Project Overview
Mollustic is a speculative design project developed within an academic research program and publicly presented at Triennale Milano as part of the exhibition Anthropogenic Narratives.
The project explores a non-human perspective on climate change, imagining a fictional movement led by marine mollusks that paradoxically promote plastic pollution as a survival strategy.
Through irony and provocation, Mollustic questions dominant environmental narratives and invites visitors to reflect on the complexity of human impact on natural ecosystems.
A provocative narrative designed to shift perspective and question how we talk about climate change.

Project Objective
The objective of the project was to design a communication system capable of provoking critical reflection on climate change by reversing traditional human-centered viewpoints.
Mollustic aimed to engage visitors emotionally and physically, using interaction and play to make complex environmental issues more tangible and unsettling.
